I'm a naturally curious and analytical person. As a kid I was either tearing things apart to figure out how they work, experimenting with my computer (Amiga 500 crew, checking in), stargazing with my telescope, or making explosive concoctions with my chemistry set. That curiosity gave me a love of science, technology, and engineering that's stayed with me.
I took an interest in web development during my college engineering studies, and transitioned to full-stack development after I graduated from university. Today, my main interest is in backend application development, creative visualization, and cloud systems design.
Most of my career has been spent leading and developing software for the non-profit enterprise sector. I'm grateful that my work over the years has directly or indirectly helped countless thousands of people throughout our communities.

What's "Serrio Mal" about?
The Expanse was a science fiction book and TV series set in the 2300s after humanity has colonized the Solar System. The writers had a habit of giving ships interesting names, and the Serrio Mal, a Free Navy frigate warship, is one of those ship names that stuck in my head.
